Belgian electronic band Neon Electronics has released this week a new track, entitled “Justification Unknown. NE features Dirk Da Davo (who needs no introduction), along with Glen Keteleer (Radical G) and bassist Pieter-Jan Theunis, if you want to know more about them, I remind you that we interviewed Dirk a few years ago. This is the second single released by the band following their return to the music scene. Neon Electronics released their last album in 2019, entitled Apollo, which followed NE from 2015. NE is a band that has always taken its time to produce albums, as all members have other projects. The first single of this new era, “Nothing for Nothing,” was one of the best tracks of 2025 and left us wanting more. After the successful concerts of the trio in recent years, these singles make us think that perhaps a new album is on the horizon. “Justification Unknown,” the track we’re talking about today, has been released digitally by Dancedelicd.
If “Nothing for Nothing” was a straightforward track, “Justification Unknown” aims to create a particular atmosphere inspired by NASA and astronauts, featuring unsettling synths along with disturbing and screeching sounds. Notable is the powerful bass that runs throughout the track and Dirk’s voice, layered with effects for a surprising result. The song builds in intensity until it culminates in an epic finale where Glenn sings as if he were the very Bowie himself. It’s a perfect composition to accompany our future space journeys.
