On the 3rd and the 4th of October, Spain will have the pleasure to welcome Minuit Machine in Barcelona and Madrid respectively. Minuit Machine is a duo of dark electro wave, created by Hélène de Thoury (also known for her solo project Hante) and Amandine Stioui, in 2013 in Paris. During this tour, the band will be presenting their new album, Infrarouge, published on the 13th of May. Fragrance, a project led by Mathieu Roche, will be the support band.
Minuit Machine
The band qualifies their music as “disrupted wave,” with influences coming from the 80s and the 90s. Exactly what we adore at El Garaje. Amandine’s beautiful voice completes perfectly the fascinating sounds created by Hélène. In 2013, the band published their first EP Blue Moon, featuring “Agorafobia” one of their most famous songs. In 2014 their first LP, Live & Destroy, was published under the label Desire, and the band began their first European tour. In 2015, they publish their third album, Violent Rains, under the label No Emb Blanc. After three years of silence, Hélène et Amandine issued the single “DRGS” as an introduction to Infrarouge.
Fragrance
Mathieu’s music is between melancholic synthpop and danceable electronic music. While his debut EP, Dust & Disorders, represents his inner fears, his first album, Now That I’m Real, opens to another world.
