On a beaucoup parl\u00e9 de <strong>Jean-Marc Lederman<\/strong> ces derniers temps, et nous l\u2019avons m\u00eame interview\u00e9 cette ann\u00e9e. Quant \u00e0 <strong>Chiasm<\/strong>, on a \u00e9crit quelques mots \u00e0 son sujet lors de notre critique concernant sa collaboration avec <strong>John Fryer, <\/strong><em>Missed The Noise<\/em>, publi\u00e9e plus t\u00f4t cette ann\u00e9e. Les deux musiciens avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 collabor\u00e9 sur l\u2019un des morceaux du magnifique <em>Letters to God (and Fallen Angels), <\/em>compos\u00e9 par l\u2019ex<strong>The Weather Men<\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><em>Venus Chariot<\/em> contient pas moins de quatorze morceaux originaux et une reprise de \u00ab\u00a0Sunflowers\u00a0\u00bb par <strong>Post Malone <\/strong>(un nom que jamais je n\u2019aurais pens\u00e9 \u00e9crire ici.) L\u2019album a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 d\u2019un single, <em>Watch Out!<\/em> sur lequel on pouvait \u00e9galement trouver des remixes de <strong>Le\u00e6ther Strip<\/strong>, <strong>Assemblage 23<\/strong> et Mark Hockings de <strong>Mesh.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Passons \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent aux points forts de l\u2019album\u00a0: l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation d\u2019<strong>Emileigh<\/strong> et la production originale dans \u00ab\u00a0The World Already Heard\u00a0\u00bb. Un titre synth pop accrocheur avec un excellent refrain qui sert d\u2019introduction parfaite \u00e0 l\u2019album. \u00ab\u00a0Destruction and More\u00a0\u00bb est tout simplement le tube parfait. La d\u00e9licatesse de \u00ab\u00a0I Can\u2019t Watch You Give Up\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0All the little things left for dead go unsaid\u00a0\u00bb, la nocturne \u00ab\u00a0Spinning Down\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Up in Frames\u00a0\u00bb, un autre possible single qui associe le c\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e9th\u00e9r\u00e9 et dansant de l\u2019album. Dans la derni\u00e8re partie de l\u2019album, on a tout particuli\u00e8rement ador\u00e9 la sensuelle \u00ab\u00a0Open Up The Floodgates\u00a0\u00bb et la m\u00e9lodie de \u00ab\u00a0Watch Out!\u00a0\u00bb Alors que \u00ab\u00a0When You\u2019re In Love, The Music Doesn\u2019t Sound The Same\u00a0\u00bb pourrait vous rappeler <strong>Coldplay<\/strong>, il s\u2019agit-l\u00e0 d\u2019un bien meilleur titre que tout ce que le groupe de Chris Martin a jamais enregistr\u00e9.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><em>Venus Chariot<\/em> est un album de pop \u00e9lectronique, parfois plus dream pop, parfois plus dansant, avec quelques touches industrielles, une incroyable et sensuelle interpr\u00e9tation d\u2019Emileigh et, surtout, une bonne poign\u00e9e de superbes compositions. Personnellement, j\u2019adh\u00e8re compl\u00e8tement \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e de monter sur le chariot de V\u00e9nus. Enfin, le duo a sorti ce mois-ci un EP contenant plusieurs remixes de \u00ab\u00a0Up In Flames\u00a0\u00bb, tous r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par des femmes\u00a0: <strong>grabyourface<\/strong>, <strong>Sapphira Vee<\/strong>,<strong> Junksista<\/strong> et <strong>Emileigh<\/strong> en personne.
