Form\u00e9 en 2019, ce duo atypique nous propose de partir \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte de <em>The Cage<\/em>, leur premier album. Paru le 17\u00a0mai 2021, il est disponible au format disque compact et num\u00e9rique.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">L\u2019une des particularit\u00e9s de <strong>Kh\u00e1os on Ga\u00efa <\/strong>r\u00e9side en son instrumentation. Torhia accompagne sa voix au tambour chamanique \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re des hommes des temps anciens et comme c\u2019est parfois encore le cas au sein de certaines soci\u00e9t\u00e9s traditionnelles qui perdurent de nos jours, notamment au c\u0153ur de la Russie o\u00f9 la culture chamanique est encore vivace. Ces deux instruments, la voix et le tambour, certainement les plus vieux au monde, sont accompagn\u00e9s par les machines et les sons de synth\u00e8se de Jba\u00e2l. Plus qu\u2019une \u00e9pop\u00e9e musicale, c\u2019est un v\u00e9ritable voyage \u00e0 travers le temps et les \u00e9poques que l\u2019on pourrait voir dans <em>The Cage<\/em> o\u00f9 les sonorit\u00e9s des temps anciens, lointains et fantasm\u00e9s, se m\u00ealent aux textures artificielles des temps modernes, o\u00f9 la conjonction de ces mondes sonores m\u00e8ne \u00e0 une humanit\u00e9 qui se transcende.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Le duo ne le cache pas, l\u2019on retrouve de grands noms parmi les groupes qui ont influenc\u00e9 leur univers musical. <strong>Fever Ray<\/strong> pour le c\u00f4t\u00e9 tribal \u00e9lectro et l\u2019esth\u00e9tique sombre de <strong>How To Destroy Angels<\/strong>, mais \u00e9galement <strong>Bj\u00f6rk<\/strong> et <strong>Tori Amos<\/strong> pour le chant f\u00e9minin ainsi que les riffs sensuels de <strong>Massive Attack<\/strong>. Aussi, la qualit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9criture est au rendez-vous. Chaque chanson poss\u00e8de un micro-univers au sein de celui de l\u2019album qui lui est propre. Entre la port\u00e9e \u00e9cologique de \u00ab\u2009Faun\u2009\u00bb et la prose d\u2019Edgar Allan Poe dans \u00ab\u2009Annabel Lee\u2009\u00bb, un titre qui prend le temps de se d\u00e9velopper ou encore la texture organique et fourmillante de \u00ab\u2009Shadow Work\u2009\u00bb, le plaisir d\u2019\u00e9coute est constamment renouvel\u00e9. Chaque titre est une v\u00e9ritable ode \u00e0 la beaut\u00e9 du chant f\u00e9minin o\u00f9 la voix est accompagn\u00e9e avec raffinement et subtilit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">\u00c0 travers ses huit titres dont la palette de couleurs et d\u2019\u00e9motions ne vous laissera pas de marbre, <em>The Cage<\/em> offre un voyage inoubliable.
