Paru le 18\u00a0janvier 2021 avec le label Brutal Resonance Records, l\u2019album est disponible au format num\u00e9rique, mais aussi cassette (en \u00e9dition limit\u00e9e).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Je dois avouer que je ne m\u2019attendais pas \u00e0 entendre un son pareil. Cela va faire plusieurs mois que je r\u00e9dige des critiques pour El Garaje de Franck et Carrion fait partie de ces rares groupes dont l\u2019univers musical m\u2019a surpris. Dans <em>Testament Ov The Exiled,<\/em> il r\u00e8gne une atmosph\u00e8re terriblement sombre au sein de laquelle on ne peut s\u2019emp\u00eacher de se complaire avec d\u00e9lectation. Riffs lourds de guitares \u00e9lectriques bourdonnantes, monstres sonores fr\u00e9tillants, magma de grave et voix \u00e9corch\u00e9es font de ce voyage avec <strong>Carrion<\/strong> une exp\u00e9rience sonore violente et d\u00e9routante entre metal et industriel.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">\u00ab\u2009With Nails\u2009\u00bb donne le ton imm\u00e9diatement. Les sons naissent d\u2019une ambiance sourde et grave. Ils crissent horriblement comme des ongles qui raclent une surface, s\u2019arrachent. Dans \u00ab\u2009To Eat Crow\u2009\u00bb, les \u00e9l\u00e9ments \u00e9lectroniques cr\u00e9ent un fond sonore statique tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant, sur lequel \u00e9voluent un ostinato m\u00e9lodique grin\u00e7ant et une voix gutturale, dissimul\u00e9e dans les ombres qui susurre des mots.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Les ambiances, bien qu\u2019elles soient toutes sombres, voire morbides, sont tr\u00e8s vari\u00e9es. Ainsi, \u00ab\u2009Putting Tape Over Martyrs Mouths\u2009\u00bb \u00e9voque l\u2019image d\u2019une procession t\u00e9n\u00e9breuse au pas lourd, \u00ab\u2009Order Diptera\u2009\u00bb offre une ambiance tr\u00e8s large, comme un grand espace souterrain. Quelques titres sont tr\u00e8s courts : \u00ab\u2009Ghost in the Machine\u2009\u00bb et \u00ab\u2009Alkahest\u2009\u00bb sont \u00e0 l\u2019image du premier titre. Ils ponctuent l\u2019album de phases de \u00ab\u2009repos\u2009\u00bb, par leur structure diff\u00e9rente et leur emplacement. Enfin, avec son spectre sonore satur\u00e9 et tortur\u00e9, \u00ab\u2009Dogs Ov Hell\u2009\u00bb flirte avec l\u2019inaudible, ce qui lui conf\u00e8re une identit\u00e9 particuli\u00e8re, un peu comme un monstre \u00e9corch\u00e9 vi\u00ab\u2009The Blood ov Saints\u2009\u00bb et \u00ab\u2009Let Us Bleed\u2009\u00bb sont les deux titres qui m\u2019ont le plus marqu\u00e9. Ils explorent tous les deux quelques d\u00e9calages rythmiques simples, mais efficaces. Un peu d\u2019asym\u00e9trie renouvelle le discours musical. Les trois remixes de \u00ab\u2009The Blood ov Saints\u2009\u00bb enrichissent la palette de l\u2019album de nouvelles couleurs.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Entre voix \u00e9corch\u00e9es, guitares grouillantes, batterie fracassante et des sons \u00e9lectroniques fourmillants, <em>Testament Ov The Exiled (Revised Edition) <\/em>est une cr\u00e9ature musicale \u00e0 la silhouette ind\u00e9finissable qui \u00e9volue dans un univers d\u00e9licieusement sombre.
