The Man, the soul and the machine."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Une bagarre \u00e0 la porte d\u2019une bo\u00eete de nuit introduit ce livre et avertit qu\u2019il ne s\u2019agit pas d\u2019une biographie ordinaire de <strong>Nitzer Ebb<\/strong> puisque la vie de l\u2019auteur aura presque autant d\u2019importance que celle du groupe dans cette histoire entrelac\u00e9e. Cette bagarre, moteur du livre, est d\u2019une grande importance puisque l\u2019auteur parvient \u00e0 lire <strong>Front 242<\/strong> sur le T-shirt de l\u2019un des attaquants. Et d\u00e9couvrir <strong>Front 242,<\/strong> c\u2019est \u00ab d\u00e9couvrir \u00bb l\u2019EBM, un genre qui sera \u00e9troitement li\u00e9 \u00e0 la vie et \u00e0 la carri\u00e8re de <strong>Pedro Pe\u00f1as Y Robles<\/strong>, notamment sous la forme de la musique du groupe anglais <strong>Nitzer Ebb.<\/strong> Dans <em>Nitzer Ebb. The Man, the soul and the machine<\/em>, l\u2019histoire des compositeurs de tubes comme \u00ab Control, I&#8217;m Here \u00bb est analys\u00e9e sous plusieurs angles : en tant que groupe cl\u00e9 d\u2019un genre, mais aussi en tant que pr\u00e9curseurs de la techno. Le livre parcourt les disques du groupe, mais l\u2019auteur s\u2019arr\u00eate aussi sur des projets parall\u00e8les comme <strong>Fixmer<\/strong>\/<strong>McCarthy<\/strong> ou des collaborations avec des artistes importants comme <strong>Recoil.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00c0 partir de divers t\u00e9moignages l\u2019auteur reconstruit non seulement la carri\u00e8re du groupe, mais son h\u00e9ritage, soit \u00e0 travers un entretien avec Bon Harris, les anciens membres David Gooday et Simon Granger, <strong>Terence Fixmer,<\/strong> producteur cl\u00e9 dans la renaissance du genre, ou <strong>David Carreta,<\/strong> un DJ l\u00e9gendaire qui a d\u00e9but\u00e9 l\u2019EBM fran\u00e7aise. L\u2019histoire du groupe est imbriqu\u00e9e avec celle de l\u2019auteur, parfois tragiquement, comme on le d\u00e9couvre dans le livre et on voit une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 l\u2019\u00e9lectronique prenait le dessus sur nos cerveaux, en passant de la route de Bakalao au moment o\u00f9 les jeunes producteurs ont r\u00e9introduit le style dans les discoth\u00e8ques. C\u2019est dans les moments o\u00f9 l\u2019histoire et la vie personnelle de l\u2019auteur s\u2019entrelacent que le livre est le plus int\u00e9ressant, et cesse d\u2019\u00eatre une biographie de groupe typique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 cela, la vision donn\u00e9e des membres de <strong>Nitzer Ebb<\/strong> est assez humaine, peu id\u00e9aliste. Les premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es du groupe manquent un peu \u00e0 l\u2019histoire, mais comme le dit l\u2019auteur, il \u00e9crit principalement sur ce qu\u2019il a v\u00e9cu, ce qu\u2019il a v\u00e9cu en tant qu\u2019homme, en tant qu\u2019\u00e2me et aussi en tant que machine.
