In this time, they have released a first EP,\u00a0<em>Lighthouse,<\/em>\u00a0and some singles we have already reviewed here. You can buy and listen to\u00a0<em>Extinction<\/em>\u00a0on their Bandcamp, but there is also a CD edition you can order directly from the band.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">This first album by<strong>\u00a0\u2013ii\u2013<\/strong>\u00a0was released on March 2021, but we have been so busy last year that until now, we could not find any spare time to review this fantastic work. In\u00a0<em>Extinction,<\/em>\u00a0we can find eight new tracks and \u201cThe Rings of Saturn,\u201d a single that, as I said before, we already reviewed some time ago here at El Garaje. Their music is a mix of dark pop and coldwave with some industrial and post-rock touches. As influences, we could name bands like\u00a0<strong>NIN, Chelsea Wolfe<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Health.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">In the first track, \u201cTenebrism,\u201d H\u00e9l\u00e8ne sings &#8220;take a trip in the dark&#8221;, inviting us to this passionate and dark trip. The song keeps growing in intensity as the band describe a work of the Tenebrism style of painting of, I guess, Caravaggio. \u201cThe Rings of Saturn\u201d is a great disturbing track with a very catchy chorus. In \u201cVoid\u201d, the contrast between the sweet and at the same time full of mystery voice of H\u00e9l\u00e8ne contrasts with the darkness of the track, maybe the one with a sound closer to<strong>\u00a0NIN<\/strong>\u2019s. \u201cFlesh\u201d shows that industrial music can also sound sensual. Benjamin, the second main member of the band, creates some wonderfully desolated industrial atmospheres through all the album. This, together with H\u00e9l\u00e8ne beautiful voices are two of the strongest points of the album.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">\u201cSlave\u201d is, as the name tells us, a song about domination sang powerfully by H\u00e9l\u00e8ne and one of the best tracks of the album. \u201cFire in The Street\u201d is an intense track that tells a scary story happening in the United States. In \u201cNovember Skirt,\u201d we would like to point out the sharp and noisy guitars. The album comes to an end with the dark prayer \u201cPurify\u201d and the solemn \u201cZero Day,\u201d both with really interesting lyrics.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><em>Extinction<\/em>\u00a0is an album that should please most of our readers. It also shows there are still some unexplored paths in dark music. Luckily\u00a0<strong>\u2013ii\u2013<\/strong>\u00a0are helping us discover them.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"penci-ercol-33 penci-ercol-order-2 penci-sticky-sb penci-sidebarSC   elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-a363833\" data-id=\"a363833\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-42e3a31 elementor-widget elementor-widget-shortcode\" data-id=\"42e3a31\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"shortcode.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-shortcode\"><iframe style=\"border: 0;
