We have just received the new remix album of Antipole<\/strong>, again with an incredible line up of artists that have given a new look to the songs of Radial Glare<\/em>, last album of the band, published in September of 2019. If in the first Perspectives<\/em> we had Ash Code<\/strong>, Agent Side Grinder<\/strong>, and IAMTHESHADOW<\/strong>, for this second part,\u00a0ACTORS<\/strong>, S Y Z Y G Y X<\/strong> and Crying Vessel, <\/strong>among others, are the ones remixing the band. Also Paris Alexander<\/strong> is going back until Northern Flux,<\/em> Antipole\u2019<\/strong>s album from 2017, to bring us a new mix of \u201cPlease Let Me Sleep.\u201d Most of the remixes are not getting too far from the original: instead they focus on emphasizing details of the tracks, partly because a lot of the artists move in universes close to the one of Antipole<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"The album starts with the remix of the first song of Radial Glare<\/em>, \u201cDecade Apart,\u201d made by ACTORS, <\/strong>who give the track a danceable touch, without removing, of course, the melancholy vibe. In the remix of \u201cDivine,\u201d Adam Tristar<\/strong> brings some light, without changing it too much. Next, S Y Z Y G Y X<\/strong> take \u201cLe Moment\u201d closer to the dance floor and even manage to highlight the erotism of the original. Crying Vessel <\/strong>transform \u201cHyoscine\u201d in a danceable synth-pop gem. European Ghost\u2019<\/strong>s remix submerges \u201cHere I am,\u201d in an ocean of echoes, making the song even more ghostly. After this, we have the remix of \u201cSyndrome,\u201d one of your favorite tracks from Radial Glare, <\/em>in this occasion by Undertheskin,<\/strong> who underlines the deepness of the voice. Ill Humans<\/strong> add some feminine chorus to the beginning of \u201cEverything,\u201d but their approach to the rest of the song is very respectful. In the hand of The Coventry, \u201c<\/strong>July Supine\u201d continues being a very ethereal track, but they add a heavy rhythm to make the song more danceable. Paris Alexander<\/strong> does some tweaking to \u201cPlease Let Me Sleep\u201d from the 2017 album.\u00a0The gloomy \u201c1983\u201d becomes very danceable thanks to People Theatre<\/strong>, but still keeping the darkness. In the remix of \u201cMemoir\u201d, Vague.Noir<\/strong> manage\u00a0to underline the minimal synth side of the song. And to finish, there is a remix of a song from\u00a0Panoply<\/em>. Songs for Ac, <\/em>where the short \u201cCoral Joy\u201d becomes something completely new thanks to Ca\u00eddas Libres, <\/strong>who add some voices in Spanish, a more danceable rhythm and a bit of noise.<\/span><\/p>\n

Perspective II<\/em> is like meeting again some old friends, after some time without seeing them, they have changed a bit, but still keep those features that made them so dear. And at the same time, it\u2019s a great extension of Radial Glare<\/em>, because, sometimes we don\u2019t only want to feel sad, we also want to dance.<\/span><\/p>\n
